INTERVIEW QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1.     Tell me something about yourself!

My name is Fitri Aliandini. I am 20 Years old. I’m graduated from Chemical Enginering at State Polytechnic of Malang. I'm a perfectionist. I pay attention to all the details, and like to be sure that everything is just right. I'm efficient and highly organized. This enables me to be as productive as possible on the job.

2.     You applied to be our Supervisor. Do you have any experience of this job?

No, Sir. I am a fresh graduate. This is my first time to apply a full time job

3.     What makes you decide to apply for Supervisor position?

I think Supervisor is an appropriate job position for me. I find it challenging and interesting as well. Due to the Chemical Engineering I took, I’m sure that my skills and talents will be conducive to this company’s success. I can also see a bright future of my career by joining this company.

4.     Very well. So, what are your greatest strenghts?

My greatest strength is my ability to focus on my work.

5.     How will your greatest strength help you perform?

My greatest strength is my ability to focus on my work. I'm not easily distracted, and this means that my performance is very high, even in a busy office like this one.

6.     What kind of weaknesses that you have?

I like to make sure that my work is perfect, so I tend to perhaps spend a little too much time checking it. I've learned to make my perfectionism work to my advantage at work. I am good at meeting deadlines, and with my attention to detail, I know my work is correct.

7.     How do you handle stress and pressure?

I actually work better under pressure and I've found that I enjoy working in a challenging environment.

8.     What problems have you encountered at work and how did you deal with them?

I think the best way to deal with those problems is to meet them head on. When someone saying things that were not true behind my back I met him and discuss it through.

9.     What will you do if you don't get this position?

I am committed to this company and its advancement so, should I not be selected, I will work with and support whoever might get selected. However, I do feel that my experience in the department and with the team would make me the best candidate.

10.  What are your salary expectations?

Well, I understand that positions similar to this one pay in the range of 3 million to 4 million rupiah. Something in that range would be acceptable to me as a starting salary.
